Website Terms of Use
Last updated: 30/08/2026
1. About us and these terms
This website at testassurance.co.uk is operated by Test Assurance Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 08779256, whose registered office is at 124 City Road, Suite G4005, London, EC1V 2NX (“we”, “us”, “our”).
These terms set out the basis on which you may use our website. By using the site, you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
We may revise these terms at any time by amending this page. The date above shows when they were last changed. Please check this page from time to time, because the version in force is the one published when you use the site.
2. These terms do not govern our services
Nothing on this website and nothing in these terms form a contract for the supply of consultancy, assurance or advisory services.
Where we agree to carry out work for you, that work is governed by a separate written engagement between us. If anything on this site appears to conflict with an engagement we have signed with you, the engagement prevails.
3. The site is information, not advice
The content of this website is provided for general information about our work and our approach. It is not professional advice, and it is not tailored to any particular organisation, system or circumstance.
Our frameworks, assessments and published material describe general practice. They cannot account for the specifics of your governance arrangements, your regulatory position or your risk appetite. You should not act, or refrain from acting, on the basis of anything on this site without taking appropriate professional advice.
Our readiness checks are self-assessment tools. They record your own view of your organisation, aggregated into a score and a band. They are not an audit, an inspection, a certification or an independent opinion, and they do not evidence compliance with any standard or regulation. Any score, band or rating they produce is indicative, and exists to structure a conversation rather than to substitute for an evaluation of your circumstances.
We take reasonable care over the accuracy of what we publish, but we do not warrant that the site is accurate, complete or current.
4. Availability
We do not guarantee that the site will always be available or uninterrupted. We may suspend, withdraw or restrict all or part of it for business or operational reasons, and we will try to give reasonable notice where we can.
You are responsible for arranging your own access to the site, and for making sure that anyone accessing it through your connection is aware of these terms.
5. Intellectual property
We own or are licensed to use all intellectual property rights in this website and in the material published on it. Those works are protected by copyright and other laws.
You may print off one copy and download extracts of any page for your own reference, and may draw the attention of others within your organisation to material on the site. You must not modify copies of anything you have printed or downloaded, and you must not use any illustrations, photographs, diagrams or graphics separately from the text that accompanies them.
Our status as the author of material on the site must always be acknowledged.
You must not use any part of this site for commercial purposes without a licence from us.
6. Trade marks
iT-TRAC® and AISTA® are registered trade marks of Test Assurance Ltd. Nothing on this site grants any licence or right to use them.
TracSens is a product of Matryxsoft Tech LLP, and the TracSens mark and all rights in the product belong to Matryxsoft Tech LLP. Test Assurance Ltd is an authorised reseller of TracSens. Nothing on this site should be read as a claim to ownership of that product or that mark.
7. Links from this site
Where this site links to other websites or resources provided by third parties, those links are provided for your information only. We have no control over the contents of those sites and accept no responsibility for them or for any loss arising from your use of them.
This site embeds no third-party content. Nothing loads from another provider while you are here, and no third party receives your data when you view a page. Where we link to an external service — to book a call, for example — you leave this site to reach it, and that provider’s own terms then apply. See our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
8. Linking to this site
You may link to our home page, provided you do so in a way that is fair and legal, does not damage our reputation, and does not suggest any association, approval or endorsement where none exists.
You must not frame our site on any other site, and we reserve the right to withdraw linking permission without notice.
9. Our liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so. This includes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, and for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
Subject to that, we exclude all conditions, warranties and other terms that might otherwise be implied into your use of this website.
We will not be liable to you for any loss or damage, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty or otherwise, arising out of or in connection with:
- use of, or inability to use, this site
- use of or reliance on any content displayed on this site
- loss of profits, sales, business or revenue
- business interruption
- loss of anticipated savings
- loss of business opportunity, goodwill or reputation
- any indirect or consequential loss or damage
This clause does not affect our liability under any engagement we have signed with you, which is dealt with in that engagement.
10. Misuse of the site
You must not misuse this site by knowingly introducing viruses, trojans, worms or other material which is malicious or technologically harmful. You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to this site, the server on which it is stored, or any server, computer or database connected to it.
We will report any such breach to the relevant law enforcement authorities and will co-operate with them by disclosing your identity to them. In the event of such a breach, your right to use this site will cease immediately.
11. Your personal data
We only use personal data collected through this site as set out in our Privacy Policy.
12. Governing law
These terms, their subject matter and their formation are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, save that if you are a consumer you may also bring proceedings in the courts of the part of the United Kingdom in which you live.
